The house marked Mrs P Eddleman in Section 27 is the former schoolhouse that W.A. Seaver taught at. It was in the SE corner of where Lath Branch Cemetery is now. After the new schoolhouse (School No.54) was built in 1871, the old building was sold to the Eddlemans for something like $60. The P. Riley farm in Section 26 was bought by the Hamiltons; later Roy & Mettie (Hamilton) Seaver lived there. |
