(The following was copied from the original clipping in the possession of Roy Seaver in 1970) Dec. 14, 1921 HAMILTON-SEAVER A quiet wedding was solemnized at 10:30 o'clock this morning, at the Christian church parsonage, when Rer. W. Y. Allen united in marriage, a well-known couple, Mr. Roy Seaver and Miss Mettie Hamilton, both of whom reside on R.F.D. No. 1. The bride wore a pretty white satin costume, Immediate relatives witnessed the ceremony, Miss Hamilton is a pleasing young lady who has been making her home with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Hamilton, east of town. Mr. Seaver is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wint Seavar, and he is an energentic young farmer, who will follow that occupation. Mr. and Mrs. Seaver will make their home with the bridegroom's parents. Today a wedding dinner was served at the bride's home and tomorrow a family dinner will be given at the Seaver home. Many friends extend best wishes. **************************************** Mrs. Robert Hamilton and Mrs. Paul Fisher and little son Jack came over from Pittsburg, Kans. to be present at the Hamilton-Seaver wedding, which took place yesterday at the Christian Church parsonage. Mrs. Fisher is a sister of the bride. Mrs. Hamilton left last night for her home, while Mrs. Fisher will spend a few days with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Scott.
