  1. I just wanna let you people know that when I sent him that machine, it didn’t look anything NEAR that picture. Olivander has clearly brokered some kind of Faustian deal that grants him preternatural restoration and photography talents.

    Oh, and did Gen ever like that “equally lovely” line.

  2. No deals with the devil here. My primary cleaning agent is Seventh Generation’s all-purpose household cleaner. It cuts through your typical typewriter grime–including tobacco residue–better than anything else I’ve used. However, it’s not as good at removing dried Wite-Out, and it can actually dissolve those ’50s “crinkle” finishes. I use Soft Scrub and a toothbrush on crinkle finishes and Wite-Out.
