Project 88

That’s as far as I got before life interrupted and I had to step away. The Underwood DeLuxe Quiet Tab I was using is back at the office, so I’ll have to finish this via electron.
My ambitious–perhaps too ambitious–plan is to write something/anything every day for the next 88 days, using a different typewriter every day. It may be opinion, it may be pointless rambling, it may be short fiction, or it may be poetry. One of my first ideas was to adapt the concept of 88 characters literally by creating 88 different fictional characters, but I fear that would be to invite pre-NaNo burnout. Nonetheless, expect some talking to myself about November’s plot.
Consider this day #1.

You are a rock star. This is ambitious, but a great way to warm up for the NaNo.
Anyway, you have to. The numbers just make too much sense.

YES. That sounds awesome. Do you think that you’re gonna post up what you create every day?

Don’t forget 88 keys on a piano keyboard as well.
Looking forward to reading whatever you see fit to put on the webs.

Yes, Mike, I’m going to try to post each entry on a daily basis, though they may frequently be a day late (write in the evening, scan/upload in the evening). I also already know that there are going to be a few days when I’m out of town and they may not get scanned/posted until after I get back. I’m not sure yet how I’m going to handle the need for different typers while I’m on the road. Writing in a notebook and typing them when I get back is cricket, isn’t it?
BTW, Clemens, your piano keyboard comment inspired today’s post.
