  2. This is why there’s very specific language in the ten commandments about coveting.

I was all pumped that I found a Voss for FREE on the very street in which I live. Hard to beat that.

Then you had to go and beat it.

Darn you, Olivander. Darn you to heck. (That’s Flanderese for…well, you know.)

What an absolute buzzkill you are.

I’ve been watching for a Torpedo for some time now.

  3. Dude, a free black Voss beats a 50¢ Torpedo by, like, a mile.

Now, if I find another Caligraph sitting out with someone’s trash, you can whine about how much better that is than your FREE BLACK VOSS.

  4. Stupid California with their stupid ranch houses with no stupid storage space. Nobody in the immediate area has basements and attics to clutter with wonderful things like this. Hoarders really have to mean it out here.

That’s a right purty machine ya got there, ayup. (Nods to my sister’s cheesehead family.) Olympia lines, but a Rem-Rand heritage? I’m especially fond of that Narwhal-like paint job. So sparkly… must not covet.

(My ire will rain down upon Duffy once he shows off that lucky Voss of his.)

  5. A Torpedo. I’ve only been looking for one for over a year now. The memory of losing a salmon/cream (SALMON, I say, and CREAM) cursive Torpedo this time last year on Ebay is almost more than I can talk about.

Fifty cents. It’s so beautiful, And so indescribably unfair.

That’s it. As soon as I post grades I’m hitting the flea markets.

  6. Give me the typewriter, and nobody gets hurt.

Would you consider writing a post entitled “how clueless photography challenged people can take good typewriter photos in three easy steps?”
