A little free-association poem written as I tested out a Hermes Rocket I had just finished cleaning up.

  1. I am logged in! It is a miracle.

I like this idea of impromptu typewritten poems. I have been recently inspired by my first cousin, once removed, as I discussed on Strikethru.

Might try one myself… and on a Hermes Rocket (I have two!) Where is the complete Olivander list of typewriters? With pictures??

  2. I used to do one of these improv poems as the first thing run through each new typewriter. Haven’t done it in a while.

My typewriter pages, with a (mostly) complete inventory and photos is here. You can also get to it through the Machines of Loving Grace link off to the right.

  3. Loggin in to this joint is amazing. I feel like I’ve just been given National Security Clearance.

Maybe that’s exactly what you want me to think.

This poem is delicious. I slam out poetry on my various typewriters every day, but they are all slanty-girly cursive. That pica just kind of thumps the reader in the chest.

    More of this!
