Remington Portable #1, a late review

I wrote this back in February, but never posted it ’til now.

Postscript: my prediction has come true! Since writing this, I’ve acquired seven more Remingtons (nine if you count the two Remington-owned Torpedos).  Other than a junked Standard #7 that I bought for parts and an early Remie Scout with a carriage issue that I purchased purely as a collectible, I love ‘em all. I’ve been calling 2009 “The year of the Remington”.
