Model B View Camera

Shutter: Conley Safety
Lacks front movements other than vertical rise and fall. Identical to the No2 View, except for shutter and presence of front nameplate. Cedar and cherry materials.
Could be the same camera as the No.1 View (there is a passing mention of this relationship in "Sears Cameras and Photographic Supplies for 1912").
Field Cameras of the United States claims that this is the same camera as the Seroco View, but known dates of Conley contracts with Sears and statements regarding manufacturing locations in early Sears catalogs contradict that. However, the Model B.S. and Seroco View are uncannily similar, and this possibility merits further investigation. My theory is that Sears licensed the design from the original manufacturer and passed that license on to Conley when their collaboration began.

Long-draw bellows. The B.W. was a slightly improved B.S., which itself was likely a renamed No1 view. All movements and dimensions of the B.W. are identical to the No1. Mahogany and cherry materials. Same camera as the New View.
